The CD Storage Master application is meant to be used by anyone who has a large collection of CDs, DVDs, or Blu-Ray discs and wants to be able to efficiently manage the collection as it continues to grow. With CD Storage Master installed on your machine you can create a catalog of all your discs and thus manage your music, movies, games, software applications, and other data.

17.1MB is the size of the CD Storage Master installation file. Completing the setup wizard that shows up when you run the file takes little of your time. It’s a simple process; without much hassle you’ll have CD Storage Master up and running on your PC. You can install CD Storage Master on top of anything from Windows 95 up to Windows 7.

By default, when you launch the application you’re presented with the CD Storage Master Wizard; you can change this default behavior if you want to, by unchecking the “Show Wizard at program startup” box. The Wizard provides a handy means of performing multiple tasks, such as making a CD cover, loading a new disc into storage, printing reports, and so on.

The interface is typical of an application of this sort. To the left there’s a pane that lists all your music, movies, games, and other data; all the discs you’ve entered into CD Storage Master are grouped there by category. In the middle there’s a pane that presents the disc you select from the pane to the left. If you select the Quantum of Solace movie, you’ll see info on it. Click the Discs Thumbnail tab and you will be presented with thumbnail for whatever category you select from the pane to the left. To the right there’s a Disc Folder Tree and a File Properties pane. Buttons to easily access CD Storage Master’s functionality are presented at the top.

To help you understand what you can achieve with CD Storage Master, the developer included a sample database. You can browse through a disc catalog that includes several movies, games, music albums, and software applications. You can view and edit details for each entry, check out a sample list of loans, and even create covers for all the entries in the catalog.

Of course, you can start to create a catalog of your own. There are various options for adding discs to your catalog: you can do it manually, you can grab data from the web, and you can add them from your CD/DVD/Blu-Ray Drive. Use the loan manager to make sure you keep track of all your discs and don’t lose any from your catalog. Use the export function to export your catalog and share it with others – or store it for data backup purposes. Print the catalog if you want to have it on hardcopy, or print disc covers.

CD Storage Master is only free to try. The trial version that can be used for a 45-day evaluation period comes with a catalog limit of 50 discs, doesn’t let you print, and constantly reminds you that you’re using the trial.

Managing your collection of discs doesn’t have to be a challenge. It’s a simple matter with the powerful disc cataloging tool CD Storage Master. Use it to keep track of your music, movies, games, software, and other data.

Pros

Support for many Windows editions is provided. The application comes with a sample catalog to help you better understand what you can do with CD Storage Master. There’s a handy wizard to help you get things done easier. There are several ways of adding discs to the catalog. Keep track of your loans.

Cons
